Roles And Responsibilities
- Development of repair and inspection technologies, process qualification, industrialization. Related program deliverables to repair facilities for new and updated processes.
- Developing specialized knowledge in repair discipline. Serves as best practice/quality resource. Has awareness of latest technical developments in repair.
- Has in-depth knowledge of Aviation repair processes and technical substantiation.
- Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations for repair. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of the repair team to arrive at decisions.
- Mentors colleagues with less experience.
- Leads repair projects with substantial business impact.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering, repair, or an applicable discipline
- Travel up to 5% within the US or globally.
- Technical repair writing experience
- Good understanding of Aviation repair manuals
- Understanding FAA regulations and how it pertains to repair
- Experience working with cross functional teams
- Team player mindset
- Prior Aviation Experience
