Roles And Responsibilities
- Manage supplier qualifications, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and requirements.
- Develop and execute action plans to address supplier quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct supplier audits to evaluate adherence to quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor supplier performance through metrics and KPIs, taking proactive measures to address deviations.
- Collaborate with key suppliers to enhance their capabilities and bring them up to industry standards.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of relevant disciplines and utilize prior experience and expertise to shape functional policies and strategies.
- Provide informal guidance to new team members and communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders about design and coordination services.
- Explain complex information in straightforward terms to facilitate understanding among team members and stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 7 years of experience in quality engineering).
- Minimum of 3 years of quality engineering experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
- Established project management skills.
- APQP and PPAP knowledge preferred.
