The Field Quality Technician will conduct testing procedures during manufacturing processes to ensure that products comply with quality standards. Analyze data using latest software such as Access, SAS report viewer, Salesforce, and Oracle. Communicate updates with the team as needed via TEAMs, email, or phone regarding daily task. Create/modify quality documents regarding manufacturing process and procedures. Provide additional support as needed to service and engineering team to reduce service call and concessions.Position

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Identify Roper parts in Smartsheet daily to ship to save concessions/fill tech backorders.
- Locate parts in Oracle, gather parts, relieve inventory for the part and ship to save concessions/fill tech backorders.
- Update Smartsheet of part sent with tracking information and contact case manager that part has been shipped.
- Go into Oracle and cancel part on part order for all shipped parts.
- Scan daily pending concession list, investigate cases, enter PQE request for unit return to Roper for investigation.
- Enter field return parts/units and their related service call information in Access database.
- Find location to set-up product, submit TR requests, getting with engineers to analyze units, summarize findings and results.
- Locate service calls for engineers/CPD owners to visit with tech to generate projects.
- Own the creation of MCIs and data forms and how data goes into Prophecy for the Quality deliverables.
Position Requirements:
- Ability to work in large cross-functional teams and at multiple levels in the organization (both salaried and shop floor operators/skilled trades team members.
- Good communication skills-will be expected to provide program report outs to cross-functional team.
- Good organizational, project management and presentation skills to interact with all levels within the organization and with suppliers and vendors.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of cross-functional program deliverables and ability to drive decisions based on the overall benefit to the company.
- Experience or has played a lead role in the definition, design, implementation and troubleshooting of quality and/or manufacturing processes.
- Project tracking and detailed planning skills required.
- Experience with Lean manufacturing principles.
What You'll Bring to Our Team
EDUCATION:
Required:
High school diploma or G.E.D.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate Degree in Technology or related discipline OR equivalent 5 years’ hands on experience in manufacturing quality disciplines.
EXPERIENCE:
- Experience with manufacturing quality projects and process improvement.
- Experience interpreting data to solve problems associated with high volume, short cycle manufacturing of consumer products.
- Knowledge of or experience in using Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Access.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate Degree in Technology strongly preferred
- Strongly prefer 2 years quality experience in high-volume manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of or experience in using Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Access.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Working conditions are normal for a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Work may involve lifting of materials and product up to 20 pounds and working in and around heavy equipment.
- Working in this environment requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to, eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and hardhats.
- These roles will require frequent walking in a manufacturing plant environment.
- Hours & Weekends: Working off-shift and weekends will be required at times.
