Role summary: The Board Coordinator will join a newly forming team at GE Healthcare whose mission is to oversee and coordinate U.S. and global securities law compliance as well as board of directors, shareholder, and other corporate governance matters; provide legal support for corporate finance functions including treasury; and oversee other corporate transactions and matters. The Board Coordinator will work closely with the board of directors as well as a variety of internal partners and groups within the Global Legal & Policy team and other functions across the business.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all aspects of board of directors and board committee meeting logistics such as travel, lodging, meals, audio-visual, etc., including attendance to support in-person meetings
- Coordinate other calls, meetings, and interactions with the board of directors and board committees or individual members as needed
- Assist with coordination of logistics for annual meeting of shareholders
- Serve as key contact with members of the board of directors
- Manage budget for board of directors and board committee matters
- Assist with organization and distribution of board of directors and board committee materials as needed
- Must be able to maintain security of highly confidential information—discretion and confidentiality required
- Assist with other administrative matters related to board and board committee functioning and perform other related duties as needed, including liaising with other departments
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree, paralegal certificate from an accredited institution, high school diploma or GED with at least six years of corporate governance, paralegal or similar experience
- Significant experience with all aspects of meeting planning and organization; international experience strongly preferred
- Willingness to travel in the U.S. and/or internationally
