Job Description Summary
The primary responsibility for the CMC Manufacturing Engineer will be the qualification and installation of production equipment to meet the delivery and capacity demands of the business. This includes the industrialization of equipment to drive stability and consistency between similar equipment. This is an LPB Band Position.Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support plant safety policies and objectives
- Responsible for equipment qualifications
- Responsible for industrialization of equipment to drive stability and consistency between similar equipment
- Close working relationship with maintenance to drive reliability and installation schedules
- Work closely with engineering process owners
- Work with digital systems to drive machine connectivity and networking
- Participate in capacity analysis of process equipment
- Work with cross functional teams to improve OEE
- Specification of new equipment
- Support and lead MOC activities in support of equipment qualifications
- Serve as the lead on projects and initiatives that span multiple operational areas
- Support Lean Initiatives
- Work boundlessly within the organization and the PE Team to ensure that policies and procedures are consistent
- Articulate progression of projects to all facets of the business, including technicians, process engineers and site leadership, ensuring efforts support business goals & objectives.
- Performs other duties as assigned/as needed to support 24x7 manufacturing processes.
- Serve as a link between engineering, maintenance, DT and growth playbook
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree accredited college or university (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of process or manufacturing engineering experience)
- Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience

- Experience with equipment start ups/qualification

- Proven history of sense of urgency in supporting production needs.

- Strong acumen in executive level communications & engagement
- Strong knowledge of LEAN manufacturing principles
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects with established project management skills
