We are currently recruiting for an HR Data Strategy Leader within our HR Global Solutions team. This is an important role for the new GE Vernova company, and you will play a critical part in shaping the future of HR across the organization!
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Workday Architect & HCM Solutions Leader, this role is responsible for owning the GE Vernova data strategy & governance across all HR processes & services. This role will design, maintain & enforce the data standards framework & policy for the organisation.
You will lead elevating data quality to the next level by creating, adapting, enhancing, and improving documentation and guidelines for users by driving smarter user behavior, along with developing strategies for governing all types of valuable data throughout the data life cycle. Partnering with both DT and the HR Data Analytics & Reporting teams, you will ensure security roles are optimized to enable access to required data, whilst defining the data distribution policy, SLA and usage requirements.
As a successful Data Strategy Leader, you will:
Act as subject matter expert for relevant master data objects to data design leads, project teams and business users.
Develop early detection & controllership mechanisms to identify issues and establish audit processes to ensure data quality is maintained.
Provide oversight and direction for business users to ensure standards are embedded and followed
Partner with key stakeholders to develop the GE Vernova Data Dictionary to define & implement how HR data should be used across all HR processes & services.
Provide support, guidance & training in relation to standards for data usage
Stay abreast of industry best practices in data governance and participating in industry forums on this topic. Ensure GE Vernova remains aware of and selectively applies the appropriate knowledge & approaches.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and vice versa
Qualifications and experience
Significant experience in human resources, with a technical aptitude
Relevant experience working within Workday data ecosystem
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Deep HR functional knowledge through supporting regional HR related project or working in an HR Operational role
Demonstrated strong Project Management knowledge and experience managing multiple projects
A passion for working within a global matrix organization, across diverse teams and cultures
Proven track record of leading successful change impacting large populations
Excellent facilitation, conflict resolution and prioritization skills
Critical thinker capable of interpreting a range of relevant data sources and a drive to build structure & governance within those structures.
Desired skills
Solid experience in HR Technology
Certification in Workday HCM or another Workday product
Experience of working in a large global organization
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college or comparable background , or equivalent knowledge or experience
Deep understanding of HR practices, policies and/or processes
Demonstrated ability to lead medium to large projects or initiatives
Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools
Strong understanding of Lean Tools and methodology
Problem solver, analytical-minded, challenges existing processes, critical thinker
