Roles and Responsibilities:
As a Lead Engineer within the Fluid Systems organization, you will:
- Manage multiple systems and components within the fluids discipline from initial concept through ground and flight testing.
- Manage hardware through the design process from initial concept through ground and flight testing.
- Drive supplier design efforts including both technical and programmatic aspects.
- Actively participate in internal and supplier design reviews.
- Complete necessary analysis and evaluation of proposed designs for assigned projects adhering to business standards and design guidelines.
- Work with senior technical leadership on system and component design CTQs
- Work within a cross-functional team of design engineering, quality engineering, supply chain, and program leadership to ensure the components and system meets the application needs.
- Present design details and philosophy to internal and external customers
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering field from an accredited university or college (or high school diploma/GED with 6 years' experience in disciplinary engineering and science).
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in disciplinary engineering and science
