The Materials Leader will work tactically to ensure uninterrupted materials supply to support GE Healthcare operations and leverage Lean Six Sigma methodology to drive strategic improvements in physical and systemic material flow; including MCC responsibilities, inventory reduction, and order fulfillment.Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
1.Owning all aspects of material ordering including expediting parts as needed due to customer demands or quality issues
2.Initiating sustainable process improvements to exceed customer expectations while using Lean strategies to drive continuous process improvement
3.Leading Phase In / Phase Out (NPI) activities to create a world class Lean supermarket, showcasing material flow efficiency from supplier to shop floor
4.Displaying proficiency in Oracle and ASCP functionality
5.Owning cycle count accuracy, root cause, & resolution
6.Conducting daily std work to include walkthrough of dock & shop floor to investigate and root cause material abnormalities
7.Developing collaborative relationships & proactively communicate with suppliers, sourcing, & internal customers
8.Achieving inventory business metrics including turns, overall cost, net and gross variances
9.Ensuring customer fulfillment with focus on SCOT
Qualifications/Requirements
1.Bachelors degree and 2 or more years supply chain experience or a HS diploma and 6 or more years supply chain experience
2.Proven ability to drive change initiatives in a matrix environment
3.Ability to successfully motivate and maintain employee involvement while driving change
