Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide for effective solutions to problems that are not well defined.
- Use data to effectively distill problems with many inputs down to the most critical to focus on.
- Lead teams to execute strategies to effectively improve OEE performance.
- Engage with floor technicians to understand key issues.
- Partner with floor technicians to develop solutions and help enable floor driven solutions.
- Help coach and mentor others in effective problem solving and data analysis.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree accredited college or university (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing/Production experience)
- Minimum of 3 years of industrial/ manufacturing experience.
Desired Characteristics
- 5 years experience creating and implementing sustainable solutions to problems. At least green belt or higher certification in Lean/ Six Sigma desired.
- Ability to effectively lead teams..
- Able to formulate a strategy for solving a problem and communicate that strategy to key stakeholders and team.
- Capable of driving rigor required to consistently drive action and address issues in a timely manner.
- Strong critical thinking skills. Comfortable not being the "expert in the room" while asking probing and challenging questions.
- Excellent data analytical skills. Proficient in statistical data analysis.
- Strong oral and written communication skills. Effective communicating the message up, down, and across organizations.
