Roles and Responsibilities:
Role Summary:
Assemble electrical components and systems (harnesses, sensors, igniters, leads and exciters)
Cut, strip, and crimp wire as required
Performs visual & basic measurement inspection of parts subsequent to assembly steps
Performs functional tests using a variety of equipment to verify accuracy and functionality (i.e. electrical, helium, and leak tests as required)
Essential Responsibilities
In addition, you will:
Follow written work instructions, processes, and procedures
Be trained to obtain all required certifications of department
Work with hazardous materials
Use a wide variety of hand and/or power tools as required
Ability to do weight measuring as required
Read and interpret dimensional measurements as required (calipers, and scales)
Be cross-train as required
Qualifications/Requirements
Actively participate in a teaming environment that uses lean and 5S practices to improve products and processes
Basic computer skills
Basic math skills
Basic ERP skills
Basic written and verbal communications skills
Eligibility Requirements:
Ability to frequently lift, carry, push and/or pull up to 25 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations
High School diploma or GED
Desired Characteristics:
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Soldering and electronics manufacturing experience
Assembly and Braze experience
Dimensional and electrical training
Excellent attendance history
Ability to produce error free products
Strives to meet or exceed job requirements
