The Sales Director will be responsible for achieving revenue goals in a designated market segment, while driving and closing on revenue growth and market penetration.
Location: Remote/work from home
Duties/Responsibilities:
Pursue and close business within the IDN / health systems market segment to achieve revenue growth and market penetration goals.
Pursue opportunities and close business in the value-based care market if and where the Sales Director’s professional relationships warrant engagement.
Develop and execute a successful sales strategy that aligns with company goals and objectives.
Build and maintain relationships with key decision makers in hospitals and healthcare systems.
Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns that drive sales.
Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the healthcare industry, including emerging trends, regulations, and reimbursement models specific to our value proposition.
Conduct regular market research and analysis to identify new opportunities for growth.
Collaborate with other departments within the company, such as product development and customer success, to ensure customer satisfaction and ongoing success.
Provide regular updates and report to the VP of Sales on sales performance, market trends, and competitive activity.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.
Ability to identify and organize a coalition within the customer organization.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
Familiarity with ultrasound technology and the healthcare industry.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to travel 50% or more in pursuit of opportunities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft 365 or similar software.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field required; master’s degree preferred.
10 years of experience in medical device or other healthcare sales, with a proven, demonstrable track record of success.
Experience and success in the IDN and health systems market segment.
Experience in AI or healthcare technology sales.
Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
Experience in the healthcare payer market segment.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
