The Test Cell Program Manager leads MRO test capability execution across NPI products, validates and executes engine improvement plans for internal & external test cell network. Guide and mentor customers, suppliers & internal GE team on test operations. Program Manage external test cell workstreams on new build or brown field projects. Provide GE planning & execution support for on-site Test Cell Shakedown / Correlation activities at GE & customer sites. Define & coordinate test cell integration & detailed planning and test adaptation related activities.Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Serving as primary GE focal for the program management of test cell project workstreams on new build / brown field GE sites (design, construction timeline adherence, tooling and hardware identification / purchase, correlation, leadership updates etc
- GE focal for supporting effective planning and execution of Test Cell Shakedown / Correlation activities including planning of baseline tests through Peebles
- Ensuring GE fulfillment of contractual requirements for test cell support
- Collaborating with peers to document best practices & lead process improvement projects on test cell correlations
- Create new and maintain existing test adaptation guides and test enabling hardware lists per engine model
- Accountable for timely answering of technical queries to support test cell licensee’s & customer salesforces cases
- Train & mentor team members
Required Qualifications
- 10 years experience in Test Cell operations / engineering / test facilities
- Expert understanding of Test Cell design, specification & construction
- Technical knowledge of test cell and engines performance
- Leadership experience in test adaption process for NPI
- Understanding of regulatory requirements relating to test operations
- Experience in correlation processes
- GE & CFM deep product knowledge – preferably LEAP experience
- Understanding of customer & supplier licensing requirements
- Proven project management experience
Business travel is required for this position
