Child Care Infant Toddler Teacher

We are looking for fun loving teachers who are passionate about education! Each teacher is a valued member of our staff and their creativity is welcomed throughout the classrooms. Teachers who will love and care for our kids. Teachers who want to share God's love with our little ones. Who believe in bringing the fun and getting messy just as much as the children in our care do! You will be responsible for creating a safe positive space with age-appropriate and engaging lesson plans that nurture the development of the children in the classroom. Teachers must be able to effectively communicate with parents and families and work together in conjunction with the entire faculty. We are looking for someone who is a team player, friendly, has organization skills, flexible and excellent work ethic. Part Time positions are available with potential for future full time.

• Create a safe, positive, nurturing environment where children are safe, can play and learn.

• Classroom management and lesson planning for age-appropriate development consistent with the unique needs of each child

• Must demonstrate, model and teach biblical values in the classroom for our families and our team.

• Partner and communicate with parents, with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children.

• Support your center’s success; partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.

• Maintain a tidy and orderly classroom. Required Skills and Experience:

• A love for children and a strong desire to make a difference every day.

• Ability to build relationships with families and coworkers and create a dynamic environment where play and learning happens.

• Outstanding customer care skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and manage multiple situations effectively

• 1 year Early Childhood Education Experience

• Must meet state specific guidelines for the role including Background Screening. Compensation is based on your experience and education in early childhood field.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift 50 pounds, move quickly, bend, squat, kneel, and sit on floor, and reach overhead required.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Completion of Medical Checkup to include Tuberculosis test.
• Must pass Background Check
• Completion of pediatric CPR and First Aid training through an accredited or approved program within three months of hire date.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.75 - $11.25 per hour

• Monday to Friday

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CPR Certification (Preferred)
• Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
