Professional Fee Family Practice/Internal Medicine/Lab Coding Specialist - part time

We are hiring now and have an immediate need for a Professional Fee Lab coder for one of our long-term clients. This is an employee status, fully remote, part time position.
Responsibilities
This position will provide accurate coding services (diagnoses, conditions and procedures) for Laboratory services. The coder will be required to use ICD-10-CM, CPT and HCPCS Level II codes. The position requires the coder to achieve and maintain a 95% accuracy level and maintain production standards as outlined by service line. The coder is required to have some availability Monday-Friday . The coder will need to establish the number of hours they can work each day. After training once the coder is released, we do offer flexibility on the time of day (meaning the coder can work those set hours at any time during the 24 hour period; with as many breaks as they desire). During training and initial quality review the coder may need to be available during the leadership team's business hours.
Qualifications
- AAPC/AHIMA Certified
- 2 years laboratory coding experience required
- Epic experience required
- Quality and production standards must be met (20 CPH, 95% accuracy)
- Flexible hours: Weekends are allowed - minimum of 20 hours per week. Training to be scheduled during the week days.
