Job Qualifications :

• At least 3 years in hotel, country club, or venue management experience
• Experience as a server, bartender, or similar industry experience
• Previous experience with scheduling is a plus
• Understanding of cost controls and some budgetary knowledge
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance and high service standard
• Excellent communication skills
• Reliable transportation
• Proficient reading, writing, math and computer skills
• Ability to taste and evaluate food and beverage products

Job Responsibilities :

As the Assistant General Manager at our location, you will play a vital role in ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Your main responsibilities will include :

• Overseeing all aspects of the banquet facility's operations, from housekeeping and maintenance staff to purchasing and inventory management
• Executing all event and menu requirements and fulfilling all guest-specific service requests
• Managing housekeeping, maintenance, and in-house operations staff
• Ensuring all function setups and breakdowns are executed correctly, efficiently and expeditiously
• Coordinating the services of all operational departments and outside vendors to ensure successful events
• Anticipating business levels and ensuring adequate products and equipment are ordered
