Job Summary: Gelatys is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Merchandiser to join our growing team. This position is crucial in enhancing our product visibility and ensuring that our gelato products are attractively displayed in grocery retail stores across designated territories in Oklahoma City and surrounding areas.
The Merchandiser will work closely with grocery store managers and store staff to optimize product placement and drive Gelatys sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with store managers and store staff to secure prime product placement.
- Regularly visit grocery store locations to monitor and manage Gelatys stand alone freezers and promotional product displays, ensuring they meet company standards.
- Implement in-store marketing and promotional campaigns in collaboration with the sales and marketing teams.
- Track and report on inventory levels, product performance, and market trends to inform sales strategies.
- Ensure product quality by managing stock rotation and removing expired items.
- Utilize personal transportation for store visits, with mileage reimbursement provided.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in marketing, business, or related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in retail merchandising, particularly within the food and beverage industry.
- Strong organizational and planning skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and make quick decisions.
- Proficiency in English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle; company covers gas and maintenance expenses.
Job Type: Part-time (20 hours per week)
Annual Salary: $15,600 - $16,640 (At a hourly rate of: $15.00 - $16.00)
