POSITION DESCRIPTION

Position: Recruiter
Location: Tampa, FL
Clearance: Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Outcomes:
The successful candidate is expected to accomplish the following outcomes in the first year on the position:
- Successful recruitment of at least 30 candidates
- Maintain a “Time to Fill” average of 30 days or less
- Annual turnover rate for staff recruited of 10-15%
Responsibilities:
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Interview, evaluate, and screen applicants for applicable background and skills
- Proactively source, develop and maintain an effective candidate pipeline through a wide variety of job boards, community postings and employee referral sources
- Conduct reference checks to collect and evaluate information concerning previous employment record
- Coordinate employment offers with applicant and hiring manager
- Develop position descriptions
- Work with Gemini Managers to refine screening criteria, identify internal candidates and pursue new sources of qualified candidates
- Build and maintain relationships with industry and Government contacts to gain knowledge and generate referrals
Qualifications:
The candidate must have the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience
- Experience using Applicant Tracking systems
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)
The following qualifications are desired:
- Experience with recruitment for DOD contracts
- Knowledge of the Taleo ATS
Travel: Minimal travel may be required
