The focus of the position is to provide direct instruction to students to help them learn subject matter and skills that will contribute to their social, emotional, and academic development; coordinating work within the School, as well as with other divisions/departments; complying with operating policies and procedures established for the assigned function; communicating with appropriate personnel; responding to inquiries or requests for information; maintaining appropriate records and providing assigned reports.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Teaching certification or license
- Proven experience in classroom management and lesson planning
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience working with students in a teaching capacity
- Familiarity with literacy education principles
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs
- Experience in tutoring or instructional design is a plus
- Knowledge of educational technology and its integration into the classroom
- Familiarity with curriculum development and educational standards
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
- Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development opportunities
