Overview
As the IT Specialist, you are responsible for the daily and long-term IT initiatives for our corporate offices, construction site teams, and property site teams. You will be instrumental in ensuring our organization is maximizing their IT tools to be as productive as possible. Critical thinking, problem solving as well as attention to detail and being able to clearly communicate technical items in a clear and concise ways is a must.
In this role, you will be a big part in the technical growth across our three companies and instrumental in our dynamic environment facilitating the needs within three industry verticals (real estate development, construction, and property management/operation). There is an immediate and ongoing need to establish and enforce key technical standards, but you will also have the opportunity in vetting and testing out new innovative tech, sustainability, and wellness solutions for our organization to determine and help implement solutions that have the largest positive impact to our customers and communities.
Responsibilities
- Key Responsibilities
o Support technical needs across the organization; including two Kirkland corporate offices, satellite field offices and
infrastructure required for working from home
o Help facilitate in the onboarding/offboarding/transfer of team member hardware, software, and other related items o Procure and deploy new and replacement hardware as needed, and track hardware inventory
o Maintain procurement, assignment, and billing of software licensing and other technical tools
- Support Help Desk
o Monitor and address tickets that come through our internal support help desk
o Conduct trainings for employees in the use of hardware and software as needed
o Document common and/or reoccurring help desk issues and provide a Wiki for technical self-help o Establish and maintain working relationships at various levels of the organization
o Assist with emergency or time-sensitive requests as needed
o Provide clear and calm support

o Support in the vetting, onboarding & implementation of new systems & platforms
o Implement best practices in cyber-security
o Monitor emergency situations, SLA's, backups, and other business critical applications
o Help manage and establish the IT Budget and to drive cost-effectiveness
o Stay current on emerging technology, and be able to provide recommendations for future technology investments
that align with business requirements and goals
o Support in the vetting and testing of new tech, sustainability, and wellness innovations
o Work closely with external IT firm and all vendor relationships to ensure the completion of high-level IT initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of IT Operations or relevant work experience
- Info Systems, Comp Sci degree required or relevant experience
- Experience with Microsoft O365 a must
- SharePoint and Procore a huge plus
- Excellent organizational, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication skills; orally, written, and virtual
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong project management skills, a team player, and ability to prioritize
- Additional IT certificates a plus
- Electronic or computer repair certification a plus
- Local to the Eastside or greater Seattle area
- Current driver’s license
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
