The Wellness Team at Ballard Landmark is seeking motivated, qualified, quality individuals for the positions of Certified Med Techs.

MEDICATION TECHNICIAN: Assists residents with their medication program, in addition to performing the following-listed duties. Acting under the guidance and delegation of a licensed Registered Nurse, the Med Tech must: set up, record, and assist with medications as ordered by physicians and/or at the direction of an RN; provide medication assistance documentation per policy and state requirements; communicate changes in resident's conditions accurately and efficiently to RN/LPN/DOW, emergency personnel, physicians, and resident family/responsible party; perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITIONS:

- Current and unencumbered CNA or NAR

- Current CPR/First Aid training

- Fundamentals of Caregiving

- Dementia & Mental Health training preferred

- Read, write, and understand English

- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; ability to function as part of a team

- Good verbal and written communication skills

- Strong organizational and time-management skills

- Comprehension of pertinent WA State regulatory laws, policies, and procedures

- Must pass criminal background check

- Med Techs must complete and pass Nurse Delegation Core Training
