Under close supervision, this position is responsible for assisting in a variety of structural, composite, mechanical and/or electrical operations to ensue appropriate aircraft structural, avionics, and electrical systems are installed, tested and operational. The position may assist in system modifications due to technical updates and/or a customer request, which require disassembly, modification, reassembly, and testing of mechanical and/or electrical system. Following technical documentation, monitors, tests and verifies quality of work, and completes required documentation for review.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Assists in installing and testing aircraft structural, composite, avionics, and/or electrical systems to ensure they are operational and meet required quality standards.
- Troubleshoots system issues including mechanical, engine, fuel or electrical.
- Performs aircraft repairs and rework on composite, metal or laminate assemblies, parts, components and/or structures utilizing inspection and rework instructions.
- Performs a variety of maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations.
- Assists in various system modifications due to technical updates and/or customer requests including final operational testing and assurance they meet quality standards.
- Completes all required documentation in accordance with established company procedures and/or government and customer technical order requirements.
- May participate in the performance of airframe operational checks, installation of payloads and Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) in accordance with company and customer guidelines.
- May perform launch recovery tasks of aircraft to include ground operations preflight items, ground observer responsibilities and post flight items.
- Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company. Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practice.

Job Qualifications:- Typically requires High School diploma and two or more years' of progressive experience in mechanical/electrical assemble and/or maintenance or an Associate's degree in a related field or military/trade school equivalence. Additional related technical experience may be substituted in lieu of the formal education.

- A composite trade school certificate, Federal Aviation Administration A&P license, and military aircraft maintenance and assembly training are desirable.
- Ability to obtain SEC clearance is required
