We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Deployable Integration Technician in our Aero Services division based out of Poway, CA. Employee's in this role must be able to deploy both CONUS and OCONUS in support of Company projects. Employees in this role enjoy a Flex deployment rotation schedule while maintaining full benefits. Flex employee's work only while deployed or in a training status, receive deployment compensation, and live in any state.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This position is responsible for assisting in a variety of moderately complex structural, composite, mechanical and/or electrical operations to ensure appropriate aircraft structural, avionics, and electrical systems are installed, tested and operational.
- Installs and tests aircraft structural, composite, avionics, and/or electrical systems to ensure they are operational and meet required quality standards.
- Troubleshoots moderately complex system issues including mechanical, engine, fuel or electrical.
- Performs moderately complex aircraft repairs and rework on composite, metal or laminate assemblies, parts, components and/or structures utilizing inspection and rework instructions.
- Performs a variety of maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations.
- Assists in moderately complex system modifications due to technical updates and/or customer requests including final operational testing and assurance they meet quality standards.
- Completes all required documentation in accordance with established company procedures and/or government and customer technical order requirements.
- May participate in the performance of airframe operational checks, installation of payloads and Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) in accordance with company and customer guidelines.
- May perform launch recovery tasks of aircraft to include ground operations preflight items, ground observer responsibilities and post flight items.
- Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
- Other duties as assigned or required.
Job Qualifications:
- Typically requires an Associate's degree in a related field or military/trade school equivalence and one or more years' of progressive experience in aircraft assembly and/or maintenance. Additional related technical experience may be substituted in lieu of the formal education.
- The ability to pass a Deployment Medical Exam.
- May require extensive travel and/or CONUS or OCONUS deployment.
- The position requires full knowledge and understanding of:
- Structural, composite, mechanical and electrical aircraft systems and associated regulations; a
- Aircraft related assembly/repair/installation processes, tools, composites, templates, fixtures, testing and measuring devices as well as judgment to determine correct tool(s).
- The position also requires some technical experience:
- Reading, interpreting, and explaining blueprints, drawings, and maintenance manuals
- Installing, inspecting, modifying, adjusting and testing various aircraft assemblies and structures;
- Completing required technical documentation. Good communication, interpersonal, and computer skills are required to interface with supervisors, staff and/or other departments.
- Customer focused, able to work both independently and in a team environment, and able to work extended hours when required.
- A Composite trade school certificate, Federal Aviation Administration A&P license, and military aircraft maintenance and assembly training are desirable.
