Job Summary: The Staff Accountant will facilitate the day-to-day accounting functions in the areas of general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, cashflow/banking, and other accounting duties. Key Responsibilities: · Participate the month end close process. · Learn new Workday ERP system to assist with MS/MH accounting. · Prepare and park journal entries primarily for COGS and Revenue on the MS/MH business but could include LP as needed. · Prepare P&L analysis on a monthly basis to be reviewed by Divisional Controller and Operations team. · Act as accounting counterpart to manage QTS relationship. · Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations. · Preparation of information in support of financial, tax and bank audits · Provide project-based process improvement and analytics support. · Prepare reporting package (P&L and KPI’s) for upper management. · Assist in the completion of special projects/ad hoc reporting and analysis. · Drive process and tool standardization across the company · Ad Hoc assistance within FP&A as needed to support MS/MH business line. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: · Financial Analysis and reporting experience required. · Experienced in accounting close and consolidation processes is required. · Research and reconciliation skills required. · Intermediate to advanced proficiency with MS Excel and Microsoft Office Suite required. · SAP experience a plus; experience with the FICO module desired · Experience with Full Cycle Accounts Receivables and/or Accounts Payable is desired. · Strong attention to detail and excellent follow-up skills required. · Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while working from a shared email inbox. · Ability to work well with individuals at all levels inside and outside of the organization. · Strong communications skills (written and verbal) as you will be interacting with customers daily. · Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision. · Team player who thrives in a small, cross-functional teamwork environment · Sales operations experience would be helpful in this role.
