Position Description:
* Assist in performing and summarizing time studies
* Conduct labor standards audits, to include process time observations, and historical data reconciliation
* Assist in the development of manpower requirements
* Observe Production processes and investigate and propose new or improved methods and systems relative to reducing process costs
* Maintain Production department performance reports
Position Requirements:
* Must be at least 18 years old
* Must be pursuing a Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering with at least 2 years of completed curriculum
* Overall GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred
* Must be a US person as defined by ITAR
* Must pass background check and pre-employment medical exam including drug screen
* Must be able to obtain Department of Army Police unescorted access to the JSMC
* Basic knowledge of Industrial Engineering practices
* Basic project management and organizational skills
* Good written and oral presentation skills
* Proficient with computers and software including MS Office
* Must have the ability to work in both production and office settings
* Must be able to work in a teaming environment with bargaining unit employees
