Hybrid Position: This position does not require an employee to be on-site full-time to perform most effectively. The employee's role enables them to work at a GM facility or off-site as frequently as needed or desired.

The marketing team works to build a lasting impression among consumers and improve product sales and market share through improved brand loyalty and brand perception. They may assist with the development and implementation of the marketing strategy and plan.

Role

The Social, Digital, & Content Partnerships Assistant Advertising Manager will support the Buick Brand Strategy & Content Manager and work collaboratively with Marketing, Sales, Agency Partners, and Central Teams to assist in the development of strategic social, digital, media-led content, partnerships, and branded entertainment placements.

The ideal candidate will have a foundational knowledge of social and digital strategies and best practices with a focus on platform-specific content. Candidate should have experience strategically planning, developing, and approving creative executions across the social and digital spaces. Candidate should excel at managing relationships both internally and externally. Success in this role will involve close collaboration with media, central teams, and agency partners.

Role Responsibilities
  • Assist in the day-to-day planning and execution of social and lifestyle digital campaigns including paid and organic social strategy, digital executions creative, launch/campaign support, influencer executions, and overarching social/digital amplification plans
  • Assist in the day-to-day planning and execution of media-led content, branded entertainment, and content partnerships
  • Serve as point person for securing strategically aligned partnerships and branded entertainment placements on behalf of the brand
  • Lead social and digital creative development including still photography, video, media-led, and partnership content
  • Collaborate with central teams to foster innovation based on consumer insights, owner needs, and social/digital best practices

Role Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or related areas
  • 4 years of experience in Advertising, Media or Marketing; Agency experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate and provide thoughtful creative feedback
  • Strong understanding of the ever-changing digital eco-system and a curiosity for new approaches and technology
  • Understanding of influencer and branded entertainment landscapes
  • Excellent communication, presentation, organization, and relationship-building skills
  • Proven cross-team collaboration
  • A self-starter with the ability to think strategically and develop creative solutions
  • Ability to analyze and solve complex problems
