Job Posting for Inventory Control Clerk at General Motors

Job Description

In this role, you may perform inventory control, scheduling or be responsible for other warehouse support functions in a warehouse distribution or processing center. You will contribute to team goals and solves problems with guidance from direct leader in addition to the following responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reconcile Daily Adjustment folders.
  • Perform location checks to validate bin inventory status.
  • Remove local controls from host once RF books are completed.
  • Perform initial slotting of parts and part moves based on sales and stock volume.
  • Investigate and resolve non-stock product found at facility.
  • Interface with other PDC departments (i.e. Quality, Operations, Dealer Contacts) to resolve issues.
  • Analyze parts related to Backorders
  • Coordinate with IC Supervisor regarding bin moves to support plant layout

Additional Job Description

  • WMS / IMS experience
  • Experience with MS Office
  • Warehouse experience
  • Inventory Control experience
  • Experience in a union work environment
  • Ability to work early morning shifts
  • Strong communication and problem solving skills
