GBS Global Process Transformation Background:

GBS Global Process Transformation is focused on driving the design and delivery of value-oriented business process transformations by taking a comprehensive end-to-end approach. GBS operates as a global organization supporting various GM functions including Finance, Controllership, Purchasing, HR, Manufacturing and a growing list of new business partnerships.

Position Overview:

The Process Transformation Analyst will provide expertise, assistance and support to management and business stakeholders by facilitating, gathering and analyzing information using standard tools and approaches to support process optimization and end-to-end visibility.

 

Core Responsibilities include:

o   Meet with enterprise stakeholders to identify, understand and document end-to-end business processes

o   Review and develop process documentation on current processes with a view towards continual improvement

o   Perform business process re-engineering, requirements definition, process analysis and design, workflow analysis, and developing as-is and to-be business processes

o   Assist in the identification and development of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to objectively and continually assess process performance and determine process health

o   Provide a strategic point of view on where to focus efforts and resources on standardization and process improvement to drive optimal value

o   Support occasional process benchmarking activities with internal and/or external partners

o   Facilitate training and provide coaching in business process management methodologies

o   Identify, define, and prioritize, in coordination with process stakeholders, standardization and process improvement opportunities across the end-to-end process

o   Support process optimization by performing strategic evaluation of existing framework methodology and suggesting improvements

o   Identify and escalate opportunities to leverage new technologies such as robotic process automation to drive efficiencies

 

o   Establish strong relationships with all levels of business cross-functional stakeholders, manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate discussions to ensure information flow, transparency, collaboration and effective execution of solution aligned to business needs

o   Communicate project progress and outcomes to all levels of the organization

·        Communication – Ability to effectively communicate at various levels of the organization tailored appropriately to the audience

·        Creativity- Creative problem solving and making connections internally and externally to create business propositions

·        Collaboration - Candidate should demonstrate effective collaboration skills up, down and across the organization

·        Service Innovation – demonstrated experience innovating in a service environment (tools and methodologies such as LEAN, OPEX, etc.)

Qualifications, Skills & Knowledge:

  • A Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field
  • CPA, MBA, or equivalent preferred
  • Strong client / customer service skills and ability to listen and action the voice of the customer
  • Maintain effectiveness in continually evolving environment
  • The ability to be a change agent, using influence, education and persuasion to build relationships and gain support for difficult changes

·        Ability to rethink existing processes and design a future state aligned with a newly envisioned operating model

  • Experience with project and/or program management
  • Ability to take a strategic and transformational point of view on an opportunity or project
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally in a collaborative, inclusive manner
  • Experience leveraging Operational Excellence, Lean, or other structured methodologies to solve complex problems
