Job Description
The Infotainment RF Antenna team is the critical link between on and off vehicle communications. The wireless space is an exciting growth area with the deployment of expanded data throughput and safety technology. The antenna space is currently experiencing signifigant growth with the introduction of expanded 5G, V2X, extended range Wi-Fi, GNSS and vehicle level simulation technologies. In the antenna team, you will work within multiple facets of the GM community, leading engineering teams rs to bring antenna technologies to global markets across advanced product offerings.
Who You Are:

Lead and mentor a team of design responsible engineers, through the VDP process from sourcing through SORP

Interact cross functionally within the GM enterprise
-
Help remove impediments and foster an environment for high-performing team dynamics, continuous flow, and relentless improvement

Lead a DRE team and the supply base to achieve excellence in new product development and current production quality

Stretch assignment, lead a advanced technology team focused on cutting edge antenna technologies
What You Need:

Strong leadership skills with a proven track record for dealing with ambiguity
-
Managerial courage to speak up and challenge the status quo
-
Innovative approach to problem solving
-
Robust communication skills to communicate succulently across multiple levels of GM and supplier management

Robust Knowledge of the VDP process
-
BS or MS in engineering preferably in Electrical Engineering
-
EMC or Antenna design experience is very beneficial
- Knowledge of Simulation process

Experience with the following GM system, PRTS, ECR, ONS, EMBSAY

Customer focus, place the customer at the center of engineering decisions

5 Yeas of Program Management or Design Release Engineer Experience in Automotive
