Genesis Village is an active senior retirement community designed for people 55 that includes exclusive amenities unlike any you’ll find in Northwest Ohio. Locally owned and operated, our 170,000 sq. ft. community sits on over 10 partially-wooded acres and offers 161 spacious 2 bedroom, 1 bedroom and Studio apartments for seniors who want nothing less than the best out of their retirement years.

Position Purpose: This non-exempt, part-time position is responsible for performing essential housekeeping functions, maintaining the common areas of the building along with keeping individual apartments in a clean and orderly manner.

Responsibilities:

• Reports directly to the Front Desk Manager and reports on all Housekeeping activities.
• Cleans and maintains the inside of the building along with assisting the marketing team in preparing apartments for new residents and guests.
• Completes weekly cleaning schedule.
• Adheres to all company policies and procedures.

Required:

• Commitment to high-quality standards and service
• High school diploma/GED/equivalent
• 1 years of Housekeeping experience
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and able to lift 50 pounds

Genesis Village is open 24 hours a day seven days a week; you may be required to work on some holidays, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Job Type: Full/Part-time

Salary: $13.00 to $16.00 /hour
