Description:
Seeking Senior Data quality consultant to function as analyst and advisory. Candidate will perform business and data analysis and identify means to operationalize. DQ work for data warehouses, data marts, and other data stores in support of business. The new hire will define and maintain DQ requirements, establish and maintain DQ methodologies, standards, and industry best practices. Candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders, architecture, development, and testing teams.

Seeking Senior Data quality consultant to function as analyst and advisory. Candidate will perform business and data analysis and identify means to operationalize. DQ work for data warehouses, data marts, and other data stores in support of business. The new hire will define and maintain DQ requirements, establish and maintain DQ methodologies, standards, and industry best practices. Candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders, architecture, development, and testing teams.
Required Skills:
- Practice Agile methodologies, adapt to changes, remove roadblocks and drive continued delivery
- Gather business requirements for data quality challenges in an iterative/agile development model, partnering with Business and IT stakeholders
- Identify and analyze data integrity gaps, identify approaches to improve data quality between internal and external sources
- Analyze and document requirements from internal and external sources, evaluate and build effective solutions to address and operationalize DQ challenges
- Define and document rules for data profiling and data transformation logic to highlight and alleviate DQ issues
- Research and document complex functional data and processing issues
- Evaluate DQ tools and technologies and document the pros and cons necessary to achieve the desired business value
- Work in with partnership with global IT development teams
- Overall 8 years of experience in IT Software Development Life Cycle and document governance
- 5 years of data quality analysis experience
- Proficiency in one of the DQ tools and experience in multiple tools is a plus
- 3 years of Health Care/Claims data experience
- 5 years of working experience with data store technologies
- 3 Experience in understanding Data modelling, ETL and Data warehouse concepts
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- Must be able to work independently, take initiative and work proactively to solve problems
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of ETL processing tools
- Organizing data in order to distinguish patterns and recognize trends
- Medicare /Claims experience
- Hourly W2 pay rate $65.00 - $72.00
- We have access to additional contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire positions with various rate ranges.
