- The client Fixed Income Technology is looking for a business analyst to join our team.
- This individual will be responsible for working closely with internal technology and investment teams, in addition to working closely with a vendor to help plan and drive the firm's implementation of a performance attribution and risk reporting.
- This will entail doing a deep dive on the current system to identify all of the upstream and downstream systems that it touches.
- Candidate will also be tasked on gathering requirements and mapping out the project plan of the new system.
- This role will work closely with business owners, internal clients, and the development team.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the business in order to gather and document business requirements and functional specifications.
- Evaluating business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
- Understand upstream and downstream processes relevant to area of expertise.
- Analyze and evaluate business requirements as it relates to large scale financial implementation projects, while providing hands-on expertise throughout implementation.
- Ensure deliverables meet product requirements, and work with end users and project stakeholders to define best practices.
- Work in a dynamic environment, partnering with fast-paced agile teams, to deliver quality software solutions to complex business problems.
Requirements:
- Experience working with JIRA/Confluence/MS Excel VBA/Macro, Visio.
- Experience working with SQL and the ability to create and update queries.
- Experience in the areas of Portfolio Analysis, Fixed Income securities/OTC/Derivatives
- Excellent knowledge of Bloomberg ecosystem and adept with use
- Ability to design, implement, and document data architecture and data modeling solutions.

Desired:
- BA/BS or equivalent is required.
- 10 years project management/business analyst experience in IT.
- Relevant experience in financial services or asset management.
- Functional knowledge of Bloomberg ecosystem, including trading, risk, and attribution.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects and timelines while being detail oriented.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate as part of a team and take on additional responsibilities as required.
- Accountability and willingness to be pro-active in learning and improving the quality of deliverables and efficiency of processes.
Pay rate range: $78.00 - $86.00 hourly
