Summary:
- This position is responsible to assure compliance of all product to customer requirements and specifications.
- Performs inspection of manufacturing goods during the manufacturing process. Conducts dimensional and electrical inspection of sub-assemblies or final systems assemblies. Interprets prints, manufacturing drawings, diagrams, wire cards and lists in approving or rejecting in-process or final assemblies.
- Perform and document incoming inspection of complicated machined and electromechanical parts
- Assure parts meet blueprints and specifications
- Must be able to utilize tools such as dial calipers, micrometers, height stands, optical comparators, (portable Cmm/Polyworks experience is a plus)
- Enter nonconformances (nonconformance system)
- Aid manufacturing as needed with technical support
- Perform counterfeit, suspect and fraudulent item inspections
- Perform goods and services receipts in ERP computer system (SAP)
- Evaluate and document returned materials from customers (RMA's)
- Perform mechanical lifting with cranes, pallet jacks and fork trucks (training provided)
- Unload and load trucks (minimal)
- Ensure that measurement equipment used is maintained and calibrated
- Frequent standing and lifting of heavy packages
- Microsoft word and Excel a must.
- ERP system such as SAP experience a plus
High School Diploma.
2 years of experience with the quality inspection process.
