What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director, Commercial Operations position at Genesys?
The Director Genesys Cloud Commercial Operations is responsible for developing programs for commercializing and scaling Genesys Cloud globally. This position will encourage the design and implementation of specific commercial-facing programs to increased sales, effectiveness, and reduce friction in the commercial process with partners and end customers. The role requires strategic thinking, business acumen, knowledge of sales operations, and implementation skills across cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, the primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Ability to design, build and commercially implement programs for selling Genesys Cloud across multiple geographies, and channels.
- Leadership to set direction and goals and work across a matrix of teams to improve current processes that are not optimal.
- Requires practical application knowledge of a “quote to cash” process and necessary steps in the process.
- Present Genesys cloud vision and strategy to prospects and customers
- Technical Acumen to understand the complexity of products, platforms, and interdependencies.
- Commercialization plan to ensure customer lifecycle from sales to implementation, operations, billing, and Care
- Coordination with Product Organization for the rollout of new solutions and knowledge transfer to the sales/partner audiences
- Coordination of “field requests” and prioritization with Product Organization and other teams for prioritization and implementation.
- Maintain and use applied knowledge of Genesys Cloud solutions to ensure customer value and synergy.
- Domain expertise with specific areas to complement both team of peers and your customers (partners or direct sales)
Minimum Qualifications
- 5 years of Contact Center or SaaS Business knowledge
- Direct experience is sales model or sales operations
- Technical proficiency in software and applications to facilitate and design programs
- Skills in Product Organization Offer Organization is favorable
- Knowledge of solution delivery with UC or Contact Center Commercials is a
- Operational support and Billing experience a
