Shift: Two 8-hour 3p-11p shifts and two 12-hour 7p-7a shifts each week. 40 hours/week with EOW off.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate care to patients and assist in their overall well-being.
Duties:
- Conduct physical examinations and health assessments
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare plans and treatments
- Maintain accurate medical records using Athenahealth or similar software
- Assist in dialysis procedures if required
- Provide care in various settings such as home care, urgent care, internal medicine, senior care, and long-term care facilities
- Perform laboratory tests and analyze results
Experience:
- Must hold a valid LPN license in the state of practice
- Proficient in medical terminology and documentation
- Experience in providing care for patients across different age groups
- Familiarity with senior care and long-term care practices
- Knowledge of urgent care procedures and internal medicine protocols
