Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in emergency situations, demonstrating expertise in various medical fields.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial patient assessments and triage in emergency situations
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and symptoms
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide patient and family education on disease prevention and post-treatment care
- Respond efficiently to medical emergencies
Requirements:
- Valid RN license and BLS certification
- Previous experience in emergency room or critical care settings preferred
- Proficiency in Ophthalmology, Trauma medicine, and diagnostic evaluation
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and physiology
- Ability to dialyze patients when necessary
- Familiarity with home community care and nursing home environments
- Experience in clinic or travel nursing is a plus
