Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Nursing Supervisor to join our healthcare team. The Nursing Supervisor will oversee the nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to protocols and procedures.
Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate nursing staff activities
- Monitor patient care to ensure compliance with established standards and regulations
- Provide guidance and support to nursing staff
- Handle patient complaints and incidents, escalating issues as needed
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback for improvement
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Nursing Supervisor or similar role
- Strong knowledge of IV insertion, airway management, and utilization review
- Familiarity with eClinicalWorks, Cerner, and medical records systems
- Experience in senior care and hospital settings
- Proficiency in ICD-10 coding and physiology knowledge
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
