Inviting applications for the role of Repair Operations Support
In this role, you will engage with Engineering and Operations teams to establish sustainable processes for the ongoing maintenance of current repairs of the MRO Shops. You will be responsible for improving and executing the activities for Repair Technical Support. You will be responsible to understand current repairs, technical specifications, operation instructions and repair model, process deep dives to understand technology landscape, key metrics, data flow, tools and pain points. You will design detailed solutions and recommend next steps for implementation and change management.
Responsibilities
- Analytics and Technical Support for the existing Special Processes Team (thermal spray, shot peen, cleaning, stripping, heat treat, etc).
- Ability to read and interpret repair documentation, and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and stick to a deadlines
- Ability to be flexible when needed
- Experience in project management and execution
- Shop experience preferred; engineering/supply/quality/repair knowledge desired.
- Engage in data quality and accuracy improvements, deep dive analysis and process establishment
- Evaluate current capabilities for completeness, accuracy & timeliness
- Develop trainings on the current tools and capability listing, publish reports and key findings to the business on a timely basis
Qualifications Minimum qualifications
- Past experience in engineering, technical and operations analytics positions
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems, ability to document, plan and execute programs
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, strong database management skills
- Strong oral, written communication skills, excellent customer relationship building skills, strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Preferred qualifications
- Demonstrated ability of presentation skills and knowledge of MS office suite
- Demonstrated data analysis skills and root cause analysis
- Strong Business Acumen, Analytical capability and data modeling
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor and influence customer and peers
- Demonstrated capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Lean and Six Sigma / Process Improvement activities
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
