What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Supervisor-Days position at GENPAK LLC?
Role:
This position will oversee all phases of the plant machinery and building maintenance activities for the facility while collaborating with the management team to ensure high quality production, safe work environment and compliance with all Federal, State and local regulatory agencies.
Primary Responsibilities include:
- Ensure all plant machinery is in good repair and operating properly
- Maintain maintenance supplies/parts inventory within the Infor Software structure and at a cost-effective level
- Oversee Work Orders program including prioritizing and scheduling of personnel and proper documentation of each work order at completion
- Develop and coordinate all Preventive Maintenance Programs for facility
- Participate in collaborative teamwork in attainment of facility certification and Plant Sanitation programs
- Facility compliance of all OSHA regulations including mandated safety programs such as Lock-out/Tag-out, etc. and their training requirements
- All annual inspections and required documentation for:
- Fire Extinguishers/Hoses 4) Overhead Doors
- Sprinkler systems 5) Pressure Vessels
- Emergency Lighting and Testing
- Outside Contractors:
- Bids 3) Contractor Orientations
- Scheduling 4) Job Performance
- Supervise Maintenance staff
- Assist in the installation of all equipment and ensure compliance with all federal, state and local codes
Required Experience:
This position requires at least 3 years of maintenance supervisory experience; advanced electrical background; ability to read electrical schematics/prints; strong knowledge of PLC and AC/DC drives; experience in troubleshooting pneumatics and hydraulics; plant machinery repair; excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills; the ability to manage multiple priorities and personalities.
