Finance Manager

The Finance Manager will provide financial management and oversight for GenPsych, P.C. Specific duties will include the creation and maintenance of financial projections and analysis, and comprehensive management over financial reporting.

Job Functions and Duties:

• Prepare monthly financial reports (including, but not limited to, Profit & Loss Statement, Balance Sheet)
• Prepares fixed asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Maintain compliance with any financial obligations and audits
• Implement organizational financial management and planning through financial policies and procedures, KPI trend analysis, projections, troubleshooting, and identification of opportunities that would likely contribute to profit growth.
• Oversee and reporting of monthly and quarterly assessments and forecasts of organization's financial performance against budget and operational goals.
• Collaborate with outside accountant on annual taxes and other internal staff as needed.
• Comply with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Financial experience in a medical setting is preferred.
• Master’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, or a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting, Finance, or Quantitative Analysis.
• Successful candidates should have familiarity with the processing of health insurance claims, preferably in the behavioral health context.

• Must have experience with the MS Office Suite (includes Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Must have experience with Quick Books.

• Superior planning, forecasting, analytical and strong interpersonal skills.
