Inspector

Job Title: Inspector

Location: Wichita, KS
Duration: 6 months

Responsibilities:

• Use and interpret drawings, inspection manuals, and specifications.
• Apply shop mathematics, precision measuring instruments, and specialized inspection tools and equipment.
• Adhere to Quality Management System policies and procedures.
• Understand company policies, procedures, and specifications.
• Possess a comprehensive knowledge of production processes.
• Maintain strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Maintain good computing skills.
• Follow inspection procedures to accept or reject processes, parts, and assemblies.
• Verify the qualification status of tools.
• Prepare and maintain quality records.
• Work across equivalent or lower-level inspector roles as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Punctuality and consistent attendance.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications.
• Flexibility to work any shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd) and available for heavy overtime.
• 5 years of experience in aerospace airframe assembly inspection.
• Proficient in blueprint reading.
• Experience with MS Office and SAP.
• Experience writing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional experience with SAP.
• Previous experience with related companies.
• Familiarity with 737 airframe and fuselage.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $40.00 - $43.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Aircraft Inspection: 4 years (Required)
