Your Role at Gentle Dentistry
This Financial Coordinator position is designed to fully support the Office Manager. All of the following tasks are the building blocks of the front office and all administrative staff in the office must be proficient at all tasks. Accuracy, attention to detail, exceptional customer service skills and the ability to multi-task are the primary traits necessary to successfully complete these tasks. Job duties could include, but are not limited to the following:
- Enter procedure and payment activity in computer
- Review production daily to ensure appropriate billing and accounting practices are followed
- Collect patient portion at time of service
- Accurately calculate patient financial portion
- Report appointment value in Appropriate area so it shows in GOALS/Scheduled area of schedule
- Make copy of insurance cards
- Patient Inactivation (I/A) process
- Answering Incoming Calls
- Insurance verification and documentation
- Ensure all appointments are marked with the correct producer
- Ensure each patient who visits the office has the proper doctor and clinic of record on their PIC
- Ensure each patient has the correct referrer on their PIC
- Complete chart transfer requests and mail records
- General housekeeping (vacuum, dust, dishes etc.)
Compensation
Compensation depends on experience but starts at $14 an hour.

Work Schedule
