Marketing Specialist - Social SME
Location: Richardson, TX
Contract to Hire

Remote position until January 3rd. It will then be a hybrid schedule. Tuesday - Thursday in office, Monday & Friday work from home.

• Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prefer Bachelors degree in marketing/communications or sales
• At least 6-8 years experience in a social media environment, ideally within a B2B or agency environment with B2B clients
• Deep understanding of current and emerging social media platforms; you keep up on the latest trends and their broader impacts on the marketplace
• Proven history of growing communities, engagement, and brand advocacy
• Demonstrated ability to lead internal and external cross-functional work groups and outside partners
• Experienced and savvy working in enterprise social media digital platforms (preferably Khoros) to curate insights from brand channels and social listening
• Possess a strong data and insights driven business acumen in B2B and/or B2C social strategy
• Identify new developments and trends in the social media market, including tools, applications, channels, design, and strategy, that could be of benefit to the business
• You are known as a collaborative team player with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• You are flexible and resilient. You bring a can do attitude and a good sense of humor
• You can write creative briefs that bring great strategies to life and know how to partner closely with inhouse creative and/or agencies to unlock strong creative content
• Possess an eye for good design, copy, video

• Bonus if you have skills in photography, photoshop and video editing.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
