ABOUT GENUINE FOODS
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing calendars and appointment both business and personal (doctors appt, etc)
- Drafting, coordinating, and managing appropriate email responses.
- Acting as a liaison to financial planners, real estate brokers, mortgage brokers, accountants, insurance brokers, etc.
- Working with teams across multiple departments/companies to prepare presentations.
- Analyzing financial information and presenting to CEO in summary form for further analysis
- Assisting with basic purchasing and expense reconciliation.
- Manage communications and multiple email inboxes.
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion on corporate and personal information.
- Book travel as needed including lodging, flights, rental cars, etc.
- Monitor insurance needs and update as necessary.
- Work with accountants to organize and track taxes.
- All other duties as assigned.
This role will include occasional out of state travel (about 10%).
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree required, Graduate degree is a plus.
- 1 year of previous executive assistant or office manager experience utilizing independent judgment and decision making skills successfully
- Reliable transportation to complete trips between Portland and Yarmouth, ME and other errands as necessary.
- Must have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and be highly organized.
- Must be extremely thorough and detail oriented.
- Previous experience managing multiple calendars and appointments.
- Comfortable negotiating in a multitude of different situations.
- Ability to react with appropriate levels of urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround.
- Capable of completing tasks with little or no guidance with the ability to switch gears as quickly if needed.
- Budget conscious and thrifty mindset.
- Computer savvy with experience in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, etc and different social media platforms including LinkedIn.
- Previous experience with reading and interpreting financial statements, income statements, mortgages and real estate, etc.
