YOUR ROLE You will focus on Long Term Care (LTC) Claims Administration development initiatives, driving change through technology. You will enable change in the organizational context, by defining needs and recommending solutions that deliver value to stakeholders. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Act as a liaison between IT, Product Management, Operations and our development team for the implementation of new systems or enhancements to existing systems Partner with varies business stakeholders and subject matter experts to assess and document business needs Elicit and document business requirements and user stories, utilizing business analysis techniques to align solutions Deliver analysis artifacts that add value to the organization, including but not limited to, process mapping, data flow diagrams, solution analysis, mockups and detailed requirements and/or user stories Facilitate requirement gathering sessions or walk-throughs, prepare communications and make presentations on system enhancements and/or alternatives Evaluate and recommend appropriate system alternatives and/or enhancements to current systems Research and investigate system behavior and determine root-cause analysis and trends in order to help define potential solutions for future implementations Participate in the review, design & execution of testing requirements, test scenarios and defect remediation to ensure thorough traceability throughout the development effort Proactively contribute to deliver high quality results as a core member of an agile scrum team YOUR QUALIFICATIONS Associate’s Degree 3 years of experience in creating business requirements documentation and user stories Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to tailor communications to differing audiences including Senior Management and Technical Developers Familiarity and experience with software development life cycle methodologies Strong oral and written communication skills Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills Strong organization and prioritization skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines while working independently Strong intellectual curiosity and analytical ability with a desire to develop an in-depth understanding of complex issues Proficient in MS Office tools including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Strong elicitation and listening Skills PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s Degree LTC insurance product knowledge and familiarity with Customer Service and Rate Actions 3 years of experience in creating business requirement artifacts, such as Process Maps, Data Flow Diagrams, Use Cases, Activity Diagrams or Test Scenarios Familiarity and experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum and/or Kanban) Certified or pursuing Business Analysis Professional certification or Agile Scrum related certification Facilitation, Conflict Resolution & Negotiation Skills Experienced using SQL for data research WHY GENWORTH?
