What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outpatient Psychiatrist - Apex position at Geode Health of Texas, PLLC?

We are looking for passionate adult and child psychiatrists for both full and part time roles. The ideal candidate will be motivated by joining a quickly growing organization, and excited to help us improve the care experience for patients and providers.
Key Responsibilities:
Provides onsite psychiatric care that is timely and appropriate and/or medical evaluation for patients to determine treatment needs.
Offer medication management and ongoing care consistent with current practice standards.
Provides concurrent documentation in the EMR in an accurate manner which is consistent with Geode procedure and applicable standards.
Deliver services using telehealth applications to provide remote health care when appropriate.
Provide leadership, collaboration, and training to nurse practitioners and physician assistants.
Document and navigate EHR independently and in a timely manner.
Work collaboratively with clinical leadership, billing, and compliance to ensure accurate and appropriate documentation.
Qualifications :
Board certified in Psychiatry.
Active and unrestricted license to practice medicine.
A proactive approach with a strong work ethic and desire to participate in a collaborative environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must have the ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion
Ability to maintain highly confidential information
Working Conditions:
Standard office environment with occasional travel to client locations.
May involve evening or weekend hours to accommodate client schedules.
Potential exposure to stressful situations and emergency scenarios.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit for 3-4 hours at a time between patient care and documentation.
Fine finger coordination required for typing, pressing objects such as utilizing laptop/mouse for documentation purposes
Ability to speak clearly with patients and team members so others can understand.
Ability to hear and understand others when speaking
Ability to view computer screen monitor, small objects few feet away
Ability to act and move quickly in emergency situations involving patient care
