POSITION TITLE: Developer II – AI/ML (Multiple Positions)
WORK LOCATION: 7101 Executive Center Drive, Suite 333, Brentwood, TN 37027
POSITION DUTIES: Responsible for the development, testing, implementation, and support of GEODIS AI/ML solutions while adhering to technical standards; participate in requirement analysis and define the objective of the business problems; address business problems through Machine Learning techniques; productionize predictive and time series models for demand forecast and interact with the operation people to gauge the impact of the models in the real scenarios; adhere to company SDLC; ensure that the deliverables satisfy the business requirements; modify, debug, and test existing applications; document system components; manage development against project timelines; interface with internal and external technical staff to define application solutions and resolve problems as needed; communicate with product owner to resolve issues or questions as needed; collaborate with business and technical experts to ensure solutions align with and support the company’s strategic plan.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or related field and six (6) years machine learning development experience. Alternatively, Master’s degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or related field and four (4) years machine learning development experience. Position also requires: three (3) years of machine learning development using Python; three (3) years experience with SQL and/or PL/SQL; deep knowledge of math, probability, statistics and algorithms; experience with libraries, including Matplotlib, Numpy and Pandas; experience with frameworks including FBProphet, Kersa, PyTorch and Sklearn; knowledge of leading industry technologies with a strong knowledge around IT governance, project planning, and the technological usage/alternatives available in a multi-platform environment.
