What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rental Fleet Coordinator position at GEODIS?
Job Duties: -
· Receives equipment requests, determines availability/location and ships units
· Receives and tracks all RMA’s for RF gun service in vendor maintenance system
· Maintains equipment inventory, forecasts units needed and orders from vendor
· Based on change of technology decisions by IT, forecasts number of new units needed for inventory, orders from vendor, plans and implements change over to new equipment
· Produces RF gun rental billing using MHR equipment system and Access
· Codes invoices with accounts to bill and adds equipment to company billing as necessary
· Assigns unit numbers for all new RF gun rentals
· Adds unit numbers to equipment file and updates file to note status and location of equipment
· Produces and ship labels for any direct ship equipment including batteries and chargers
· Coordinates return of rental equipment for external customers in the Nashville area including processing paperwork to track and bill equipment properly
· Receives used RF guns, tests and resets with bar code scan; enters damaged equipment into maintenance program
· Implements compliance procedures for hazardous material shipping of lithium batteries
· Other duties as requested
Requirements:
· High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency
· Minimum 3 years related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
· PC proficiency to include Microsoft Access, Word, Excel and Outlook
· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual
· Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole
numbers, common fractions, and decimals
· Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
· Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee is regularly exposed to ambient lighting and temperate climate conditions
