In Kansas City, MO GEODIS is preparing Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, and Fourth of July product for shipment. The seasonal position is seasonal for roughly 3 months, at which time if the teammate meets performance expectations, we would love to hire on full time with benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401k matching, paid time off, and so much more!) Job Summary/Duties:
The Seasonal Warehouse Admin will spend their days in different parts of the warehouse facility, some of the time in an office environment and others on the warehouse floor. When in the office, the Seasonal Warehouse Admin could be signing off on production cards, auditing end of month data, and assisting with various office duties. When on the warehouse floor, the Seasonal Warehouse Admin could be correcting orders, working with returned product to include some computer data entry, taking inventory, and restocking. The Seasonal Warehouse Admin may also help from time to time with picking, auditing, or packing orders. This role gets lots of exposure to a variety of responsibilities and departments within the warehouse, as well as works closely with the onsite leadership team.

- Structured Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm shift approx.
- There will be times where you are required to be present for overtime and weekends

Requirements
Education & Experience:
Highschool diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalent
Minimum of 6 months of related experience
Basic computer skills
Experience with Excel
Ability to write basic professional emails/correspondence
Basic office knowledge/skills/experience
Additional Requirements:
• This is roughly a 3 month project. You will not be eligible for benefits for the duration of the project until/if you are offered a full time position at the end of the project
• You may be required to come in early and stay late. This is a structured 9 hour shift, with an additional half hour added prior to shift or after the shift is over as operational workflow dictates and business needs require. Schedule subject to change
• Your attendance and participation in meetings and Operations training sessions is mandatory
• Seasonal teammates do not accrue paid time off. You will need to have perfect attendance for
the entire length of the project
• No cell phone calls or texting
• You will be required to sign the GEODIS Drug Free Workplace Policy, consenting to random or
reasonable suspicion drug and alcohol testing
• You will be required to sign the GEODIS Personal Appearance and Dress Code Policy, agreeing to abide by our dress code standards. We do not allow hoodies worn over the head or clothing with offensive or sexually suggestive wording or designs. You will be asked to leave the site and change if GEODIS leadership deems your attire inappropriate
• No weapons allowed on the work site or in your vehicle (firearms, knives, pocketknives, etc.)
• No food or drink allowed on the warehouse floor, including offices/cubicles on the floor
• Do not lose or misplace your timecard and do not take it with you when you leave the facility,
including lunch and breaks. Your timecard is to remain at the site at all times.
Environment
While performing the duties of this job the teammate is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch. The teammate is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance and may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. This position will be regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and loud noises and will be working the entirety of the shift in a cave environment.
