Role: Sr. Geospatial Analyst - ANG Northeast Region

Role Summary: The Regional Administrator provides regional support for the ANG GeoBase program. Five regional Administrators are located across the United States and provide GIS related support to all ANG installations located within their assigned region. We are hiring for the following position at Joint Base Air National Guard locations in the Northeast region (OH, MA, RI, PA, NH, NY, VM, ME, CT).

Essential Functions:

• Implements GeoBase Program standards
• Performs technical review of contracted data deliverables.
• Assists in maintenance and development of multiple site data sets and cartographic products.
• Provides data review on new and existing GIS datasets.
• Provide customer support for variety of ESRI products and functions in a remote setting.
• Creates educational materials for ESRI GIS technologies.
• Provides recommend changes, additions or deletions to the training curriculum and supporting materials.
• Creates Standard Operating Procedure and technical support documentation.
• Assists in the coordination for the delivery of training classes.
• Provides classroom instruction, hands-on learning opportunities, and demonstrations.
• Establish client relations for the promotion of ANG/USAF GIS programs and requirements.

Requirements & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university
• 5 years' experience in GIS, planning, analysis, database development, and data management experience.
• Experience in GIS data development using a variety of resources
• Ability to provide comprehensive GIS training in classroom and hands-on environments
• Ability to provide technical support remotely
• Ability to communicate with senior staff both orally and in writing
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to obtain a SECRET clearance

Work Environment:

• Location: Joint Base Air National Guard locations in the Northeast region (OH, MA, RI, PA, NH, NY, VM, ME, CT)
• Travel up to <15% of the time.
