Commercial Estimator

Qualifications

• Must have Conceptual estimating experience on midsized to large commercial building projects.

• Preferred 4-year degree in an accredited construction or architecture-related curriculum,

• (BA, BSCE, BSCM, BSAE, etc.) or experience equivalent to a 4-year degree.

• Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in Preconstruction.

• Demonstrated proficiency in the areas: estimating, scheduling, budgeting/cost control,

• financial reporting, client relationship, interpersonal skills, computer skills, ability to

• communicate, both written and oral, leadership, and organizational skills.

• Proficient in PC-based scheduling and spreadsheet applications. These include:

• Timberline, Procore, Excel, Word.

Representative Tasks and Responsibilities

• Assist team in preparation of detailed estimates (conceptual, schematic, design

• development, construction) and/or oversee and/or prepare accurate preliminary

• construction budgets to include subcontractor scope letters, subcontractor bids analysis

• and final proposal presentation to client. This would be completed as a company team effort in collaboration with other staff within the Company.

• Ensure all estimates and budgets, including general conditions, are accurate, complete

• and reflect the actual requirements of the project. This includes assuring that there are an

• adequate number of qualified and financially sound subcontractor proposals received and

• evaluated.

• Coordinate the assembly of the Preconstruction materials for presentation purposes to the

• Owner for each phase of the project development.

• Provide clients with package of pricing, scope letters, and lead times; communicate quotes

• and budget status of the project with subcontractors, Owners, and the Company.

• Initiate and maintain positive working relationships with clients, architx.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $130,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
